Meet the San Jose Team Behind Lodgewick ADU San Jose
Every ADU, garage conversion, and home addition we build in San Jose carries one name on the permit board: Lodgewick. But the real name behind the work belongs to the crew that shows up. Our San Jose team is a small, tight group of builders, installers, and coordinators who have spent years working on lots from Willow Glen to Evergreen to Almaden Valley. They know the city’s setback rules, the soil conditions in different neighborhoods, and which prefab manufacturers hold up best in our dry summers and rainy winters. What unites them is simpler than that: they say the price before the work, show up in the window they gave, and leave the job site cleaner than they found it. That’s The Kingswell Way, and every person on this page operates by it.
Our People
Miguel R. – Lead Technician
Miguel has spent 14 years in residential construction across Santa Clara County, and he’s been with Lodgewick ADU San Jose for the last six. He oversees the structural side of every project, from foundation forms to framing to final inspection walkthroughs. Miguel holds a current California general contractor license and completed manufacturer training with both Abodu and Mighty Buildings, which means he can spot a panel alignment issue before it becomes a delay. He’s the person most likely to be on your lot with a tape measure when the plans say one thing and the existing garage says another. When he isn’t building ADUs, he coaches youth soccer at a park off Story Road.
Priya S. – Senior Installer
Priya joined the team in 2021 after running finish carpentry and interior installation jobs for a San Jose remodeling firm. Her specialty is the interior build-out phase of detached ADUs and garage conversions: flooring, trim, cabinetry, fixture setting, and the final detail work that makes a 495-square-foot unit feel like a home rather than a box. Priya is factory-certified on Cover and Boxabl systems, so she understands the exact tolerances those manufactured panels require. She’s known on the crew for keeping a written checklist on every project and checking it twice before we call a job complete. Priya is also a serious home baker, and the team has a standing request for her cardamom buns at the end of long framing weeks.
Dan O. – Service Coordinator
Dan is the voice most San Jose homeowners hear first when they call (669) 266-4319. He’s the one who schedules site visits, walks through the written price process, and tracks permit submittals with the City of San Jose’s planning department. Before joining Lodgewick in 2022, Dan spent eight years in construction project coordination, including work on accessory dwelling unit projects across the South Bay. He knows the city’s ADU permit timeline realities and won’t sugarcoat them: if the planning department is backed up, Dan will tell you exactly what that means for your start date. Dan is a San Jose native, a graduate of San Jose State, and the person who keeps the written guarantee on file for every project from day one.
Elena T. – Apprentice
Elena is the newest member of the crew, now in her second year with Lodgewick ADU San Jose. She came to us through a Bay Area construction training program and works alongside Miguel on site prep, material handling, and the early phases of foundation and slab work. Elena is currently working toward her journeyman credentials while learning the equipment and material specifications for Plant Prefab and Tuff Shed builds. She keeps the job site organized and is the reason every Lodgewick project in San Jose stays clean throughout the build, not just at the end of it. Outside of work, Elena restores midcentury furniture with an eye for the same clean lines she’s learning to build into our ADUs.
